A113 Venture Fund, LLC. is focused on building the world's best emerging technology companies.

About A113 Venture Fund

At A113 Venture Fund, we invest in bold ideas, build high-impact platforms, and support visionary leaders transforming critical industries. Our portfolio encompasses edge computing, energy storage, aerospace, AI, robotics, immersive technologies, and infrastructure modernization—each company addressing a vital component of the 21st-century innovation puzzle.

With over 25 years of cross-sector leadership experience, our founder brings deep operational expertise in building companies at the intersection of defense, energy, telecommunications, and intelligent systems. We specialize in unlocking capital, accelerating commercialization, enabling public-private partnerships, and guiding ventures toward billion-dollar outcomes.

What sets us apart is how our ecosystem works together. Our companies operate as nodes in a larger strategy to digitize, electrify, and connect the world from the edge out. We develop and deploy modular energy and computing infrastructure, autonomous robotics for logistics and defense, orbital platforms and power systems for space, immersive XR tools for workforce training, and intelligent storytelling platforms to drive public engagement and education.

At the center of this strategy is a converged infrastructure model that unifies AI, energy storage, private networks, and edge computing into a flexible architecture. This architecture is designed to scale across diverse environments—from disaster recovery zones and rural utilities to smart campuses, aerospace operations, and national defense installations. The result is a replicable, modular framework for deploying next-generation digital and energy infrastructure wherever it’s needed most.

Each portfolio company plays a strategic role in this system. AVAI Robotics delivers autonomous ground and aerial mobility to extend intelligent operations. Converged Edge builds modular edge data centers that host AI workloads, manage localized compute, and power private 5G/CBRS networks. Space Energy Power provides orbital energy and data platforms that communicate with terrestrial infrastructure. XR2 Lead trains next-generation talent using immersive environments tied directly to real-world operational systems. And The Watt Hour captures and shares the human story behind these innovations, connecting policymakers, communities, and industry leaders to the mission.

From utilities and public safety to defense and space exploration, we support the deployment of decentralized, sovereign infrastructure powered by AI and backed by secure communications, resilient energy, and intelligent automation. Our partners include capital providers, real estate developers, utilities, research institutions, and federal agencies—all aligned to bring forward a world where physical infrastructure and digital intelligence operate as one seamless system.

If your organization is looking to lead in an AI-driven, decentralized world—let’s connect. Together, we can shape the next industrial era from the edge out.

Our Founder

William Michael Hadala Jr.
Founder & Chairman, A113 Venture Fund

William Michael Hadala Jr. is a visionary technologist, entrepreneur, and national security advocate with more than two decades of experience driving innovation across energy, communications, computing, and defense. As the founder of A113 Venture Fund, he is building a future-forward ecosystem that bridges digital infrastructure, intelligent energy systems, and edge-based autonomy for both mission-critical and commercial applications.

William has founded and led several advanced technology companies, including a pioneer in two-phase liquid immersion data center cooling that raised over $100 million before being acquired by a Fortune 1000 industrial leader in 2024. He is the named inventor on more than two dozen patents spanning liquid cooling, robotics, post-quantum security, and battery technologies. His engineering vision has shaped smart grid modernization, edge computing, and mobile microgrid platforms now used in defense and utility sectors.

His early work helped bridge the digital divide through rural broadband and wireless infrastructure initiatives in partnership with municipal utilities and cooperatives. He later served as Chief Strategy Officer for TMGcore, a leader in edge data center innovation. He has advised U.S. government agencies, including those focused on homeland security, critical infrastructure protection, and advanced manufacturing, and has been a long-standing member of the FBI InfraGard program.

At A113 Venture Fund, William’s mission is to invest in and co-develop technologies that electrify, protect, and connect the modern world—from terrestrial microgrids and intelligent substations to orbital platforms and autonomous field systems. He is passionately focused on catalyzing American manufacturing, enabling public-private innovation, and deploying infrastructure that extends digital sovereignty to every corner of the globe.
